Senior Business Services Assistant II – Academic & Administration Financial Service Center
The Financial Services team is seeking a Senior Business Services Assistant. This position executes the transaction activities of one of the University’s Financial Service Centers, which includes financial, budget and journal entry transactions to insure process and procedure compliant tracking and accurate reporting. This position is 100% time benefited working 37.5 hours per week.
We are seeking candidates with the following minimum qualifications.
High school graduation and five years of related experience involving progressively responsible business/accounting duties, or Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting and three years of related
experience or combination of higher education and related experience equal to five years.
Customer service skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public.
Aptitude for learning new business/accounting procedures and technology.
Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience using Ellucian Banner or other financial/accounting software.
Aptitude for learning new business, accounting procedures and technology.
Experience working in an institution of higher education.
