The SAP Business Analyst will be partner with the business community and be responsible for both supporting and leveraging the value of the division's core SAP Enterprise Systems investment along with complementary solutions to drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT). Focused on the principals of integration, automation and simplification the successful candidate will help define and lead the execution a roadmap of continuous improvements to reduce costs, increase quality and drive Enterprise Excellence.

This role will be located in either theRochester, NH or Salt Lake City, UT location.


  • Participate in the feasibility analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment and support of the SAP ECC PP, QM, MM, PM and WM modules, as well as other components/systems.
  • Manage support, issues and enhancement requests in relation to the manufacturing systems.
  • Participate in the feasibility analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment and support of the SAP ECC PP, QM, MM, PM and WM modules, as well as other components/systems.
  • Work with developers to provide guidance on functional specifications and oversee the testing of new functionality to ensure it is to specification
  • Maintain expertise in relevant to Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Maintenance and Shop Floor systems through self-study, attending conferences, attending formal classes and participating in industry groups
  • Ensure SAP Solutions (and related) are correctly integrated to all business processes
  • Participate in and/or coordinate process improvement sessions to (re)design as necessary current practices to take advantage of SAP and supporting manufacturing systems.
  • Create training documentation and impart training to end users.

Formal Education & Certification

  • University degree in the field of computer science or information systems or equivalent work related experience.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 3 years minimum system experience required in one or more SAP modules; PP, QM or MM.

  • Practical experience with SAP Fiori and Personas in the Manufacturing functions a key advantage.
  • Working knowledge of the SD, Fiori, PLM, PS and DMS SAP modules preferred.

  • Experience with Smart Manufacturing concepts, IoT platforms, OSISoft an advantage.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams preferred.

  • Strong functional knowledge of manufacturing related business processes, including an understanding of Value Streams, Lean practices and the concepts of Enterprise Excellence.

  • Practical knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.

  • Self-starter, strong problem solving.

  • Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills required).

  • Aerospace industry or related experience would be preferred.
