New England's largest independent truck leasing company is growing! Current opening for a Heavy Truck & Trailer Technician out of our Waterville, ME location. This is a second shift position. Kris-Way Truck Leasing, Inc. is a transportation services company offering full service leasing, commercial truck rental, contract maintenance, logistics and dedicated contract carriage. Our corporate office and central maintenance facility is located in South Portland, Maine and we maintain facilities in Auburn, Bangor, Saco, and Waterville, Maine; Concord, New Hampshire and Manchester, New Hampshire. From these locations Kris-Way owns and/or maintains over 2300 vehicles. Our contracts are growing resulting in a need for an additional full time heavy truck & trailer technician. Servicing various pieces of heavy equipment - working with fellow technicians with an average of 20 years of experience. Road calls are part of the deal - must be flexible & a cooperative, team based culture is essential. Starting rate varies in relation to experience. Must be able to pass preemployment physical exam and drug screen
Able to handle heavy tools and parts.
Must have strong general mechanical knowledge - at least one year experience working on heavy CMVs; must have own hand tools - sharing shop tools. Maintenance & repair work is tracked using a computerized system - familiarity with computers is preferred.
Professional maintenance of CMV; professional interaction with customers
No more than 3 moving violations in a 5 yr period
