The In-Home Support (IHS) program provides assistance to families with clients ages 3 to 21 in the Self-Directed Program. Our supportive team is looking for candidates who are self-starters, have flexible hours, and are excited to make a positive difference in others’ lives. We are seeking to fill the following direct care positions:

 

Personal Care Provider (Req #352)  We are looking for a provider to work with a 10-year old male who has Autism and who lives in the Rochester, NH. Experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum is preferred but not required as the family will provide training. Although the hours and specific days can be flexible, the family is looking for a candidate for weekday afternoons/evenings for 2-3 days a week and possibly Saturdays depending upon candidate’s availability. This position is for 6 to 12 hours per week with a starting salary range of $10/hour. More details about this position will be provided during the interview process.

 

Personal Care Provider (Req #363) We are looking for a provider to work with the client on personal care goals such as activities of daily living, hygiene, and communication. This young man has a developmental disability and is able to communicate his basic needs and wants. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required. This position is a 10-hours/week with a salary of $12/hour. The hours will be 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, 3 days each week (days can be flexible) and will take place in the individual’s home and in the community.

 

 

Personal Care Provider (#425) We are looking for a provider to work with a 16 year old young lady in Barrington. Provider would work with the individual on personal care goals such as activities of daily living and communication. This young lady has a developmental disability and is nonverbal. Although experience in working with individuals with disabilities is not required, it is preferred. Provider would need to be able to assist with physical transfers and help with toileting. The hours would be Saturdays (hours are yet to be determined) and would take place at the individuals home.

 

Personal Care Provider (#434)  We are looking for a provider to work with a 13 year old young man and 15 year old young lady (siblings) in Dover, NH. Provider would work with both individuals on personal care goals such as activities of daily living and communication. Both individuals have a developmental disability. Although experience in working with individuals with disabilities is not required, it is preferred. The hours are flexible and will take place on the weekends at the individual’s home.

 

Personal Care Provider (#435)  We are looking for a provider to work with a 13 year old young lady in Somersworth. Provider would work with the individual on personal care goals such as activities of daily living and communication. This young lady has a developmental disability. Although experience in working with individuals with disabilities is not required, it is preferred. Provider would need to be able to assist with physical transfers and help with toileting. Days and hours are flexible and would take place at the individual’s home.

 

A High School diploma or equivalent is required for all of these positions.

As local travel is a requirement for these positions, candidate must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of adequate vehicle liability coverage, and reliable transportation.

In the Self-Directed Services program, families in Strafford County manage their own services (including staffing) for an adult family member who has a developmental disability or a traumatic brain injury. The employee will work out of the family home and the family is the Managing Supervisor with Community Partners as the Employer of Record.
