Are you looking to build your skills in behavioral health services? Community Support Counselors (CSCs) provide community- and office-based interventions and supports to clients with symptoms and behaviors related to a mental health diagnosis. They deliver therapeutic behavioral services, family support, crisis intervention, and medication support employing evidence-based approaches. Our non-profit agency is looking for CSCs for the following programs:
Adult Services – Your work on our talented team will provide rehabilitative and clinical services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness in community-, home- and office-based settings.
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team – As part of our dedicated, multidisciplinary team you will provide support to help adults build skills to manage symptoms from persistent mental illness in community-based settings. This position offers a flexible schedule, a supportive team, and the ability to truly make a difference. Successful candidates will be organized self-starters who enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Youth & Family Services – You will provide direct support to children with mental health challenges and their families in home-, school- and community-based settings. In addition to the education requirement below, one year’s experience working with children and families is preferred.
The positions listed above are all 40-hours/week and offer wage ranges starting at $13.00/hour as well as generous benefit packages including paid time off, health and dental insurance, retirement planning and opportunities for growth within the agency.
PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY: Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team – As with our full-time CSC ACT Team positions, you will be part of our dedicated, multidisciplinary team and provide support to help adults build skills to manage symptoms from persistent mental illness in community-based settings. This 25-hours/week position offers a wage range starting at $13.00/hour as well as health insurance and an FSA (Flexible Spending Account).
All CSC positions require a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Education. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including evening and morning hours according to the needs of the clients and their families.
As local travel is a requirement of these positions, candidate must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of adequate vehicle liability coverage, and reliable transportation.
