Riverbend has career ladders for many positions in the agency, and also promotes from within when possible.
Riverbend has an excellent training program which is available to all staff. Training opportunities happen each week and can be either in-house or at other community sites. We offer continuing education credits to support licensure when possible.

Who We Are
We opened our doors in 1964 with a small operation. By the end of the 1970's the we had become a comprehensive, regional community mental health agency.
Many changes occurred in the 80's and 90's which led to increasing pressures on the managed care front and tremendous growth in developing comprehensive, community-based supports for people with the greatest needs, including children and adolescents and their families, and adults and elders.
Riverbend is one of the larger employers in Merrimack County, with a workforce of nearly 300 people.
Riverbend's staff serve approximately 7,000 people each year.
Riverbend is at the forefront of the mental health industry with technological advances involving electronic medical records.
